We’re excited to begin a new journey with a small, focused cohort of two students for our Tarbiyah Level I lessons. This intimate setup will allow us to give more personalized attention and build a strong foundation from the very start.
Our first session will be dedicated to getting to know one another—teacher and students—along with sharing a bit about where everyone currently lives. We’ll also spend some time assessing each student’s existing knowledge so we can tailor the learning experience appropriately.
During this introductory session, we’ll walk through the overall scope of Tarbiyah Level I, covering expectations, evaluation methods, the frequency of lessons, and what students can look forward to after completing the level.
After the introductions and overview, we’ll begin learning new material, starting with the very first letter of the Arabic alphabet: Alif, both with and without hamza. We will also learn a short du‘aa for increasing knowledge, setting a meaningful tone for the sessions ahead.
For reference, here is the deck we will be using for our first session:
Looking forward to a beneficial and rewarding journey together, insha’Allah.
